Lynnette Tuttle (74) resident of St. Maries, ID, died November 18, 2017 at Life Care Center in Coeur d’ Alene, ID. She was born December 16, 1942 to Wallace and Alice (Thompson) Jones in Pasadena, TX.
Lynnette grew up in Aurora, CO. She graduated from High School there with the class of 1960. Lynnette married Jerry Tuttle on March 3, 1963 in Denver, CO. She made her home wherever her husband’s military career with the Air Force took the family. Lynnette and Jerry moved to St. Maries in 1978.
Lynnette was a homemaker all her life and raised her family. She worked several years at Excell Foods where she worked as a cake decorator. Lynnette enjoyed decorating cakes and going bowling. Her husband Jerry died in 2012. She was a former member of the St. Maries Community Presbyterian Church.
Lynnette is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Brian and Julie Tuttle of Hauser Lake, ID and her son Michael Tuttle of Spokane, WA. She is also survived by niece Judy Hammond of Ogallala, NB and Nephew Chris Jones of Denver, CO. Lynnette was preceded in death brothers Bob, Rick, and Bill Jones and sister Betty Bauer.
A celebration of her life will be Saturday, December 16, 2017 (her birthday) at 11:00 a.m. at the Community Presbyterian Church with Pastor Janet Potter officiating. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Fellowship Hall of the Church. Lynnette will be laid to rest with her husband at Woodlawn Cemetery - St. Maries, ID.
