Obituary of Bobby L. Cochran

Bobby L. Cochran (69) resident of St. Maries passed away March 18, 2015 after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Curryville, Missouri to Glen and Opal Cochran on August 10, 1945. At the age of 10, Bobby’s family relocated to California where he attended school graduating from Hoopa High School. Following high school he went to work in the automotive industry. Bobby started his career as a mechanic for Western States CAT and retired as a Master Mechanic from AAMCO Transmissions in 2011. Bobby went to work for Lee Latting at AAMCO Transmissions in Fresno California. This is where he met Lynn who happened to be Lee’s sister. Bobby and Lynn married on April 24, 1988 in Pismo Beach California. The couple would look forward to an annual family horse camp trip on the beach and they enjoyed the yearly trip very much. In 2012 Bobby and Lynn moved to St. Maries because he loved the area and wanted to be close to his family. Bobby enjoyed working on his shop at the family home and his biggest priority was spending time with his family. He was a gadget man that could do or build anything including wood work, metal work, mechanic work, and even crocheting. Bobby is survived by his loving wife Lynn of 26 years, brothers and sisters in law Gary and Barbara Cochran and Stirley and Patricia Cochran of St. Maries and his sister Glenda Cochran from Oregon, Step-Son Donald Simone of Reno, NV, and Step-Daughter Pamela Simone of West Lake Village, CA.
