My Uncle Denny is in nearly every Ells Family memory that I have. He, being the quiet man that he is, can often be found in those memories most standing quietly in the background. But never think that means he holds a small place in my heart, nor in those memories. Uncle Denny had the best smile, a kindness about him that I loved so very much, and a distinct laugh that I will treasure in my memories forever! I didn’t see him and Aunt Pheobe nearly enough. But the last time that I saw him, I spent a few minutes talking quietly with him. I am so very glad that I did. My heart breaks at the thought of him not being here for the next Ells memory, but I believe he is in a better place now. I love you Uncle Denny.
