Margie “Margo” Chandler (96) resident of St. Maries, ID passed away at Valley Vista Care Center on November 20, 2024.  She was born on November 25, 1927 in Francis, OK.  Margo was the only daughter in a family of 6 children.  As a child, the family moved to North Idaho for her father’s work.

Margo married and had children; she worked as a waitress most of her life to help provide for her family.  She had a very colorful and advanced sense of humor.  Red was her favorite color, carnations were her favorite flower, and she loved to wear her pearls and hats.  She also enjoyed reading magazines, loved socializing and being with people.  When she moved to Valley Vista, she loved music with Susan Trammell and all of the crafts, but her most favorite thing to do was to listen to Tony Key play the guitar and sing, specifically Silver Wings and Devil went down in Georgia.

Margo is preceded in death by her parents and her children Cynthia and Clifton .  She will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in St. Maries, ID.
