Dianne L. Waldrop, resident of St. Maries, ID passed away on October 18th, 2025, at Benewah Community Hospital. She was born on November 19, 1965, to Marvin and late Lora (Pierce) Zaglin in Bogalusa, LA.
As a young child, she grew up with several health issues due to birth defects. Her father served in the military, so she received medical care where he was stationed at Charleston AFB. Dianne was raised in Greenville, S.C., where she spent most of her school years. She left school early but obtained her GED at Greenville Technical College. Following that, Dianne worked for Cracker Barrel and several other places as a chef. Dianne was then sent to culinary school by Denny's restaurant, and she became an assistant manager for their location in Anderson, S.C.
Dianne lived each day to the fullest of her abilities. She had a large loving heart and loved to laugh and joke with anyone she met. She enjoyed playing computer and board games. She was a great cook and enjoyed making food for anyone. She especially enjoyed making her favorite chocolate mousse. She was an avid reader and thoroughly enjoyed Stephen King and Anne Rice. She loved spending time with her family and binge watching her shows.
Dianne met Rodney LeCoultre in 2002 while they both were playing EverQuest. They fell in love and Rodney jumped in headfirst into their relationship. He had never met her in person when he packed up and moved to be with her in Liberty, S.C. They later moved their family to St. Maires, ID.
In addition to her father, Marvin Zaglin and stepmother, Betsy Zaglin, Dianne is survived by her three children, Amanda McCreery, Kayla Arnold (Dustin), and Benson Waldrop, her significant other Rodney LeCoultre, sister Erica Borneman, four grandchildren, and a loving extended family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lora Pierce.
