Le'Mina Marie Williams Obituary

Lemina Marie Williams, 41, of Orofino, died on Friday, November 14, 2025, in Plummer, Idaho.

Lemina was born June 15, 1984, in Orofino, Idaho, to Deanna Sanchez, maiden name Parker, and Kenny “Kenny Ray” Williams. She made her home in Orofino and felt most herself there, held by the hills and the Clearwater River she loved.

She was known for her hugs. People opened up to her within minutes, whether they had known her for years or met her that day. Her hugs were tight and meaningful, the kind that said you were safe and seen. She loved beach days and long, gentle floats on the Clearwater, sun on her face, laughing with her people.

She was a hard worker. She started at 14 at Becky Burgers, then earned her place at Sunset by 18 because people trusted her and saw her heart. She showed up, learned fast, and carried a quiet grit. She also worked long term at Stone Mountain making bows, then went on to State Hospital North.

Justin was a big part of her life as the father of her children. They met when she was fifteen and spent twenty three years together, building a family and raising four kids with love and stubborn loyalty.

She is survived by her children, Jason Olive, Steven Olive, Kira Olive, and Ethan Olive, and her granddaughter, Koa Olive. She is also survived by her mother, Deanna Sanchez, and her siblings, Kenny Ray Williams Jr., Eugene Williams, DeAnna Ramirez, and Avery Drones, and by Angel Williams, wife of her father. She is also survived by seven nieces and seven nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenny “Kenny Ray” Williams, her partner of twenty three years and father of her children, Justin Olive, and her niece, Mariah.

“She made people feel safe, then brave.”

We will have a three day wake. Friday and Saturday, my sister will be at our father’s home in Orofino for family and friends to visit and sit with her. Sunday will be the outdoor service in Orofino, big photo boards, and a simple program, followed by burial. Light food will be served afterward at the community center.

“Lemina had a way of making people feel safe, then brave. Strangers told her their stories within minutes because she listened without judgment and made them feel seen. Her hugs were tight and certain, the kind that said you belonged right here. She showed up when it mattered, stood in your corner without being asked, and somehow made you feel validated even when you were wrong. She didn’t need to know you to care about you. People gravitated to her because she carried warmth like a light, and she used it to defend the people she loved. ...
