Alicia Ann Arellano Obituary

Alicia Ann Arellano, age 55, a longtime resident of St. Maries, Idaho, passed away on December 11, 2025, leaving behind many who loved her deeply.

Alicia was born on July 6, 1970, in Fresno, California, to Judith Kerr. She spent her early years in California before her family made Idaho their home. In the early 1980s, they settled on property up Hells Gulch, a place that helped shape Alicia’s lifelong appreciation for nature and quiet moments outdoors. She attended school in St. Maries and carried strong ties to the community throughout her life. During her youth, Alicia spent time in foster care, including with Jim and Dori Blood, who provided care and support during an important season of her life.

Following her schooling, Alicia shared her life with Al Randall, and together they welcomed three sons. The family lived in St. Maries and later in Post Falls. Alicia devoted herself to being a mother, working various jobs—including house cleaning, caregiving, and running a paper route—always doing what she could to help contribute with the household.

In 2002, Alicia was blessed to find love again when she met Leo Blodgett. The two moved to Wisconsin to begin a fresh chapter together and were married in 2007. Alicia often spoke with gratitude about the love Leo brought into her life and how thankful she was that her boys had him as a “bonus” dad. In 2014, they returned to St. Maries to be closer to family.

Alicia often said Leo showed her what true love looked like. He was her rock, her steady presence, and her greatest comfort. The two enjoyed simple pleasures together—long drives through the woods, quiet walks, and time spent surrounded by nature. Alicia loved collecting rocks and treasured days spent rock hounding. Later in life, her faith became especially meaningful to her, and she cherished her small collection of Bibles. She also delighted in collecting frogs and found her greatest joy in time spent with family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure.

Alicia is survived by her children: Mitch Randall of Milwaukee, Oregon; Kyle (Joy) Randall of Post Falls, Idaho; and Cody (Alyssa) Randall of Estacada, Oregon. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Cal Randall of Post Falls, Idaho, and Travis Randall, Aspen Randall, and Lillyana Lutes of Estacada, Oregon. She is also survived by her mother, Judy Kerr of St. Maries, Idaho; siblings Jamey (Christina) Arellano of San Luis Obispo, California; Deanna (Jason) Williams of Modesto, California; and Erica Kerr of Pullman, Washington; along with several nieces and nephews. She shared a particularly close and loving bond with Katie Thaut, Lacy Sines, and Carson Sines.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leo Blodgett; her father, Joe Kerr; and her niece, Chelsea Thaut.

Alicia will be remembered for her tender heart, her deep love for her family, and the quiet joy she found in life’s simple moments.  Where love is… Hope is heard, forgiveness is found, laughter is shared.  Where love is… Work is worthwhile, sadness is softened, faith is deepened.  Where love is… Trust is cherished, peace is present, hearts are at home. Where love is you’ll find God.
