Jeanette Marie Mauro was born October 15th, 1961, to Donley George Mauro and Odessa Mauro in St Maries. Donley and Odessa later divorced. Jeanette had a cardiac arrest, spending six days in ICU before passing on August 9th, 2026.

Jeanette attended school in St. Maries, later moving to the Post Falls area. She loved spending time with family and friends. Her love of gardening reflected the pride she took in a job well done. She started a small land-scaping business and had several repeat clients she worked with for many years. Jeanette loved taking road trips with her family. Her time off would be spent helping friends in need, she is loved and missed.

Jeanette is survived by her mother Odessa Miller Jones of Post Falls. Sister Debra Thornbrugh (Scott) of St Maries, Cassandra Ragan (Mark) of Post Falls. Half brother Dirk Mauro (Melissa) of St Maries, half-sister Angel Donohoe (Mitch) Medimont. Stepbrother and sisters, Bill Swam (Bonnie) of St Maries, Vicki Schwartz (Gary) of St Maries, and Diane Lounsbury (Jim) of St. Maries, and very special friend, Cousin Cindy O'Reilly (Ron) of Rose Lake.

Proceeded in death by her dad Donley G Mauro, stepmother Ness Mauro, brother Donley Mauro Jr. (Donnie) and stepbrother Terry Swam.

A family and friend gathering will be held at the cemetery on a later date.
