Donley George Mauro Jr. “Donnie” Passed September 30th, 2025. Born August 9th, 1960, in St Maries, Idaho to Donley and Odessa Mauro, who later divorced. Donnie grew up and attended school, in St Maries. In his younger years, Donnie enjoyed riding motocross and was pretty good at it, winning a lot of trophies. He also enjoyed swimming and boating as well as snowmobiling with family and friends.

He worked in the woods doing various jobs in the area. Donnie later moved to the Post Falls area and worked for Shawn Montee logging in the area running heavy equipment. He moved to Nampa, Idaho and became a certified welder. He joined the union and travelled doing various welding jobs for the company he worked for.

Donnie is very much loved and missed by family and friends.

Donnie is survived by his mother Odessa Miller Jones of Post Falls, sisters Debra Thornbrugh (Scott) of St Maries and Jeanette Mauro of Newman Lake, WA, Cassandra Ragan (Mark) of Post Falls, half-brother Dirk Mauro (Melissa) of St Maries, half-sister Angel Donohoe (Mitch) Medimont, stepbrother and sisters, Bill Swam (Bonnie) of St Maries, Vicki Schwartz (Gary) of St Maries, and Diane Lounsbury (Jim) of St. Maries. Also surviving are cousins and an aunt in the St Maries area.

He is preceded in death by his dad Donley G Mauro, stepmother Ness Mauro, and stepbrother Terry Swam.
