Obituary of Wayne Ziebell

Wayne Ziebell (78) resident of Fernwood, ID passed away at Benewah Community Hospital on June 23, 2016. He was born to Carl and Dorathy Ziebell in Mt. Vernon, WA on April 6, 1938. Wayne grew up in Sedro-Woolley, WA and graduated from high school there. Wayne went to work with his dad doing TV repair following high school. He later went to work for Drummens washing dishes. Wayne washed dishes for over 50 years before he retired. In his retirement he liked to fish, watch football as he was a die-hard Seahawks fan, and he loved the Seattle Mariners. He was a stubborn man who loved to argue; however he was a very kind hearted and generous man. He loved old cars especially his 1960 Dodge Colt. He was a ladies man and enjoyed visiting at the Senior Center in Sedro-Woolley. Wayne is survived by his niece Tanya Garvin, nephew Sean Grissom of Spokane, WA, and great-nieces Josie Olstead and Kayla Lebert of Sedro Woolley, WA, Raechel Olstead (Jordan Callender) of Fernwood, ID. He is preceded in death by his brother Paul Ziebell and one sister. Services will follow at a later date in Sedro Woolley, WA.
