Obituary of Clarence Moore
Clarence Moore (87) longtime St. Maries, ID resident passed away at his home on July 14, 2019. He was born to William and Bernice (Bailor) Moore in Shelton, WA on February 22, 1932. Clarence attended school in Yalt, OR and left school after completing the 9th grade. He moved to Olympia, WA for a short time before relocating to St. Maries, ID.
Clarence’s brother in-law helped get him a job at Chase Chevrolet in downtown St. Maries, ID. He also went to work for the Texaco station which stood where the 76 Station stands today. Clarence spent a majority of his career at Fleet parts from 1979 until he retired in March of 2007. Although he was retired, Clarence never left Fleet Parts. He enjoyed coming in every day visiting at the counter with everyone.
Clarence is survived by his children Steve (Mary) Moore of Deary, ID, Jeanna (Steve) Irish of Tacoma, WA, Renee Palmer of Tacoma, WA, Lisa Monahan of Tacoma, WA, and Kevin (Michelle) Moore of Hillsboro, OR; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Muriel Carter, Dorothy Paran, Loise Buck, Lloyd Moore, and Marge.
