Obituary of Renee A. Hollibaugh

Renee Alicia Hollibaugh (54) resident of St. Maries and former Orofino, ID area resident, died March 25, 2013 at St. Maries, ID from an apparent heart attack. She was born April 21, 1958 to Willard and Marilyn James at Yuba City , CA. Renee grew up in Orofino and graduated from Orofino High School with the Class of 1976. She then worked in a cafeteria in Greer, ID where she met her future husband Bob VanAllen. They were married in 1980 at Orofino. She started to raise her family at Greer, ID. She was divorced in 1984. As a single parent of two children, she moved to Tacoma, WA and went to work for Executone Phone Co. In 1988, she went to work real estate and title companies in the Tacoma area. She worked there for 10 years before moving to Coeur d' Alene, ID She went to work for Pioneer Title Co. there. She married Larry Hollibaugh in 1999 in Las Vegas, NV. They made their home in Coeur d' Alene. Renee returned to Greer, ID in 2003. She worked for First American Title in Lewiston, ID. After two years there, she went to work for Clearwater Title Co. in Orofino. In 2010, Renee went to work in the Magistrates office for Clearwater County. Renee suffered her first heart attack in 2012. This was a major set back as she was only able to work part time. She was divorced in 2012 and moved to St. Maries last December. Renee was recently approved for her Social Security Disability, but still had the desire and determination to continue working. She was an avid gardner and enjoyed landscaping as well. Her special interests were spending time with her family. Renee is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Tania VanAllen of Hayden, ID and son Joe VanAllen of Pullman, WA. Also surviving are her brother and his wife Rick and Sheri James of Moscow, ID and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by both her parents. No services are planned at this time.
