Tommy will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He was always willing to help and a very patient teacher. He taught me things about packing with the mules and I was not a very patient learner when it comes to the pack animals. He was kind and gentle to all. May you rest in peace along the most beautiful heavenly trail!!

While we did not know Tom real well, we were always happy to talk to him because he was a true gentleman. You could tell his character because he was straight with you and he listened to you.

Tom will be missed by many on the Joe. I worked with Tom when he started the Forest Service in 1990. Our first hitch on the Little North Fork of the Clearwater was something else! Water was high, cold at night. We spent 8 days in there. After that we spent many days & nights out on the trails, all over the Joe. Alot of hard work and fun times! With Renee as well! Prayers go out to the entire family. Tommy will be missed. But there are alot of memories to hold onto! Tom and Renee were wonderful caring friends. I still think of them as kids! And now they have their own family with the boys all grown up. Time flies! Love and prayers! Gerri Bush
