Dear Deacon Floyd, may you rest in the Peace of Christ! Floyd helped inspire and motivate me through diaconate formation, and he and Nancy kindly traveled across the country to witness my ordination. Nancy, our prayers are with you. We are so sorry for your loss.

You certainly will be missed Floyd! So many memories for me, from you being a neighbor next door in my teen years, watching you & your brothers visit outside with my Dad while he was working on his truck, so many, many more through the years of living in SM with you & Nancy. What a blessing at every single service you & Nancy did through the years. So thankful for the man that God made you into, Praise be to God our Father for your amazing contribution here on this earth. My Love & Prayers sent to Nancy, Rick, Bill, your kids, other family, & friends.............enjoy being home with our Savior.

Deacon Floyd will be truly missed. Floyd was an wonderful Deacon. Floyd always had a joke to tell in his homilies. Floyd was the glue that kept our church going. He was awesome for Baptisms, weddings, and funerals. In 1993, I went to World Youth Day as a chaperone with Floyd and Nancy. This trip was life-changing. We got to see Pope John Paul II and now Floyd gets to see him in Heaven as a Saint. May God and Mother Mary wrap their loving and healing arms around all of Floyd's family and friends during this very sad time. RIP Floyd. You will be missed.
