Aunt Jean was my 2nd Mother. She and my Mom Louise were like 2 fun, crazy sisters when they were young at heart. They told stories of pushing their Mom And Dad's car out of the barn, up the dark driveway and sneaking out to drive over an hour to go dancing. My Grandma and Grandpa would lay in bed laughing because the girls thought they were getting away with something. Jean at the age of 90, still called her Dad, DADDY. That always warmed my heart to hear her and sisters refer to their Dad as DADDY. Jean had such a fun sense of humor. I would call her and try to make her guess who I was. When I would say, ARE YOU NAKED, she would respond by saying I can be. We would laugh and she would say Hi Janice. I don't know how she always knew it was me. Jean was always someone I adored when I was little. She always had fun purses filled with makeup, comb, lipstick and all the things 5 year old girls wanted. When she opened that purse and that smell of double mint gum flowed through the air, I all could think about was I can't wait to grow up and have a cool purse like that. Aunt Jean always looked so put together even when she worked in her garden which she loved. Every Christmas and Birthday I always got a package of something she had made with love. I always saved that package for last. I Will always love this amazing woman and I miss her so much already. Rest in peace Dear Jean. Love You and once again we shall meet, laugh and giggle until we see who almost wets their pants first. You were an amazing Lady. Love Janice

My Aunt Jean was such a kind and loving person. I didn’t see her often, but when I did she would always speak so softly and always so kind. I regret not knowing her better. May she Rest In Peace.
