My mom and dad (Bud and Dee Johnston) were good friends with Vern and Pat and even went to Hawaii with them on one of their trips. Growing up I remember seeing Pat at the clinic when I’d visit my mom there. . . Pat, my mom Dee, Marie Miller, Artis Hughes - the awesome clinic bunch who are still close today. I always enjoyed having drinks and dinner at Vern and Pat’s place. Pat always set the formal dining table so lovely and we all knew she would be sharing some of her home canned goodies. Dessert and coffee was always served at the end - she was so gracious. Pat and my mom were very close so I’m sharing a precious photo of them taken a couple years ago helping at the church bake and craft sale. We will all miss you Pat. You are loved. You lived a beautiful life here on earth and will be in good hands with our Lord and Savior. Sue Beary (Johnston)
