Saddened to hear of Jake's passing. It had been quite some time since I'd seen him but wanted to express my sympathy for your loss. I graduated the same year as Jake and remember him as a youngster as well as all throughout our high school years. He was always a very nice boy. Prayers and condolences for your family and your loss.

Eating canned stew or ice cream. Learning the rules of a mountain road. Figuring out the eyesight to see a momma and baby moose when all i could see were trees. Exploring parts of the mountain only the experienced or very brave would go. Learning a chevy pick ups gear pattern. Listening to only oldies on the radio. Letting Gunner take up the whole pick up seat. And the occasional Bitch about life together moments deep in the Idaho woods or just down to the dumpster taking the trash out (and looking for a bear) None of that seemed like much at the time but being "Kid" to you was what it was all about. Thank you for letting me be "Kid" forever!
