Melskey was one of my nicknames growing up. I can still hear Dale greeting me that way. I remember him teasing me like big brothers do about some guy I might like or when I was real young he would tease me if there was kissing on a show. Then he would laugh when my face turned red. I remember him getting us concert tickets for Pullman like Brian Adam's and Journey and a really fun one The Pretenders with Gretchen, Evette, Elaine, And a couple others. I remember working for him at the Big Eddie as a waitress. Elaine and Denise worked there too. That was so much fun. He was a great boss. I remember him helping me with my real estate questions and him helping me find and buy my house. If we were out on the town I knew he always had my back even when I turned into "mad max" my drinking alter ego. I loved how he could cheer me up when I was down and he was always so optimistic. He had a heart of gold. He loved his kids and was especially proud of his grandkids. He commented often about them, keeping in touch mostly through facebook. He always asked about my kids too and followed sports and things they were doing. Family was very important to him. Love and Miss you Dale
