Obituary of Timothy G. Michael
Timothy G. "Puddin" Michael (43) former St. Maries and Emida, ID resident , died suddenly May 20, 2013 at his home in Tekoa, WA from an massive heart attack. He was born January 16, 1970 to Frank and Nadine (Keener) Michael at Moscow, ID. He grew up in Emida and graduated from St. Maries High School where he played football with the class of 1989. Following graduation, Tim drove logging truck for Jack Buell Trucking. He married Char Godding in 1992 at Coeur d' Alene, ID. They divorced in 1996. Tim continued to drive logging truck for Bill Lowry Trucking and went on to operate heavy equipment for Ron Linnemeyer. In 1997, Tim went to work for his father as a sawyer, heavy equipment operator and log truck driver. He left that job in 1999 and worked for other area logging contractors. In 2001, Tim began his career in farming when he went to work for B & P Lentil of Farmington, WA. He was injured in a grain elevator when his left foot was caught in an augar causing him to lose his left leg up to the knee. Following rehabilitation and being fit with a prothesis, he returned to work for Evergreen Farms in Farmington. He was employed there at the time of his death. Tim enjoyed his dogs, hunting and participating in sporting events. Tim is survived by his father Frank (Doris) Michael of Emida, ID and mother Nadine (Bill) Dreisbach of St. Maries. Also surviving are his daughters Natasha Michael of Kuna, ID and Kayla Marie Hodge and Sierra McKinzie both of St. Maries. Tim is also survived by sisters Toni (Ralph) Quigley of St. Maries and Tori Posey and Vern Fritsche of Tensed, ID . Step-sister Jackie (Brian) McGregor of St. Maries and one grandson. Also surviving are numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of his life will be Saturday May 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Maries Elks Lodge with Deacon Floyd Turner officiating. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the Elks Lodge.
