I am so sorry to hear of Ricks passing. He was such a nice guy and always willing to have a chat. I used to see him at the IGA and then run into him again in Harrison at Roses or the Gateway. I believe (but could be wrong) that he used to work to set up the major ground fireworks display in St. Marie’s during the fair. Our family loved the fireworks display he would set off in Harrison and I do believe he was on the barge the year some exploded on the barge. That was pretty exciting watching people jump overboard. I’m sure the community will miss this local-yokel. He was a great guy and I send my and my families sympathies to his family.

Sad to hear Rick has departed this world... he was my neighbor since 1985, and always a gentleman who would help anyone when needed. May Peace surround his loving wife Jan. Until we meet again Rick, may you Rest In Peace ~
