Obituary of Georgia L. Jeremias

Georgia L. Jeremias (65) former resident of Worley, ID passed away in Spokane, WA on May 13, 2021. She was born to Ralph and Patricia Sifford in Spokane, WA on December 3, 1956. Georgia grew up in Worley, and graduated from Worley High School with the class of 1975. Following high school, Georgia waitressed and bartended at Leo’s Club. She married Craig Jeremias in 1979 and they had son Josh. They relocated to St. Maries in the early 1980’s where they opened a carpet store. The couple ran this business for a few years. Their marriage later ended in divorce, and she eventually moved back to Worley. She spent time as a Special Needs Caregiver and Phlebotomist before health issues forced her to retire. Georgia enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid collector of antiques and knick-knacks and loved going to yard sales. She also enjoyed fishing, camping, and cooking as she was an exceptional cook. Georgia is survived by her son Josh (Brenna) Jeremias of Post Falls, ID; brothers Paul (Dawn) Sifford of Worley, ID and Joe (Karen) Sifford of Post Falls, ID; 2 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jim Sifford. A graveside service will be Friday, May 21, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Worley City Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends to share a meal will follow at the Coeur d’ Alene Casino in the Camas Room.
