Obituary of Wade W. Norton

Wade W. Norton (22) resident of St. Maries, ID died June 10, 2013 from injuries received in an automobile accident near St. Maries. Wade was born November 6, 1990 to Bill and Kimberly (Spier) Norton at Coeur d' Alene, ID. He grew up in St. Maries and attended school here. While attending high school, he started working for Hughes Ace Hardware. During his school years, he and some friends formed a band called "Downfall". When that band dissolved, a new band called "Behind the Tide" was formed with Wade as the lead singer. He graduated from St. Maries High School with the class of 2009. He continued to work for Hughes Ace Hardware while attending North Idaho College. In 2012, he started working with his father in the woods. Wade enjoyed composing music and lyrics. He had a fondness for riding motorcycles and since he was a boy , he enjoyed riding BMX bicycles. Wade is survived by his father and step-mother Bill and Lisa Norton of Medimont, ID, Mother and step-father Kimberly and Prabhu Rajagopalan of West Richland, WA. Also surviving are his grandfather Lonnie Spier of St. Maries and grandmothers Loretta Graham of St. Maries and Sharon Norton of Harrison and Barbara and her husband Ron Cafaro of Otis Orchards, WA. His great grandmother Dorothy Welling of Mullan, ID. Wade is also survived by sisters Stephanie Norton of St. Maries and Syona and Shanthi Rajagopalan both of West Richland, WA. His Step-brother Cody Austin of Harrison Flats, ID., 3 nephews, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandfathers Allison Norton Jr. and Bill Graham both in 2007. Funeral Services will be Friday, June 14, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. At the St. Maries Assembly of God Church with Rev. Fred Pace officiating.
