Joe was more than a friend to our family. He had such a big heart, always helping and doing more than was expected of him. As a little girl growing up, he always made me feel important, protected and loved. He was tough as nails and could be as stubborn as they come, but equally if not more, full of love and compassion. He is much loved and will be missed… our community’s loss is Heavens gain. Prayers to the family of a great man!

I was on the Worley Ambulance with Joe and he was a hoot. Professional, knowledgeable and yet a joy to be around. It was a thrill to peek into his fully stocked ex- Paramedic vehicle and see everything that Joe had personally bought to make our jobs easier. I'm so very glad that I was able to know Joe and I'm sure he is volunteering for something in Heaven.
