Obituary of Stanley K. Reep

Stanley K. Reep (57) resident of St. Maries, ID died September 14, 2013 at St. Maries following an extended illness. He was born May 14, 1956 to Kenneth and Deanna M. (DeWalt) Reep at St. Maries, ID. Stan grew up in St. Maries and attended schools here. As a young man, he worked in the woods logging. For a period of time, he lived in North Carolina with his father. Returning to St. Maries he worked for a time for his uncle at Larry's Auto body Shop in St. Maries. Stan had a marriage and a divorce. He was disabled and unable to work in the latter part of his life. Stan enjoyed working with leather. He made native necklaces, purses and amazing bead work. His great niece said "He could always make you smile when you were having a bad day. He really was a kind hearted man who was a big part of my life". Stan's other interests included a love of hunting and fishing. Stan is survived by his sister Donna Manriquez of Chatsworth, GA. His brother David Crain of St. Maries, his aunt Roxanna Traicoff of St. Maries and his uncle Larry Peterson of Coeur d' Alene. Also surviving are nephews including Robert and Furman Reep III and Ron Martell. Nieces Katherine Owen, Jenniffer Crain, Shannon and Korrina Reep. and great niece Chailena Reep as well as numerous cousins . He was preceded in death by both his parents and brother Furman Reep , Uncle Joe Reep and aunts Martha, Marylen, Pat and Sylvia No services are planned at this time.
