Robin Cox

Obituary of Robin Lee Cox

Robin L. Cox born April 9, 1933, and passed away On October 19, 2023, just as she desired, at home with her daughter Sara Silfvast and Son-in-law Kevin Silfvast.

Robin was born in Marshall Missouri and left at an early age to go help with World War 2 efforts in various roles in California.  This is where she met the love of her life, A Pearl Harbor World War 2 Veteran and Husband of 55 years Sibley Cox.

Robin was a servant hearted women and her life’s goal was to be a phenomenal wife, mother and friend.  To all that knew her she more than achieved that. She was the biggest example of unconditional love and would give you the shirt off her back to make you feel welcomed and loved.

She would tell anyone that would listen that her family was the greatest gift and she needed nothing more.  Anyone that was around more than a few times was considered family. She was known for always standing on the driveway no matter the weather or the time and wave you into her home or wave you a goodbye.  You couldn’t ever leave without her telling you to be careful and that she loved you.  It wasn’t a cliché for her; she meant it, every word.  She loved tirelessly.

She leaves behind a small family that each have an imprint of her on their heart. Kevin and Sara Silfvast daughter and son-in-law, Granddaughter Robbie Mester, Great Grandsons Ayden and Jonah Silfvast and partner Averie Buell, and Jasper Michael, Great-Great Granddaughter Lennox Silfvast, Sister In-law Phyllis Plains and like a daughter to her Dawn Scheper. All have a hole in the heart where Robin will always reside.
