Obituary of Flossie Zoe Kaiser

Flossie Zoe Kaiser (67) resident of St. Maries, ID died Oct. 7, 2013 at Life Care Center, Coeur d' Alene, ID. She was born April 1, 1946 to Truman and Bernice (Walker) Spooner at Eugene, OR. Flossie moved with her family to Boise, ID in 1960 and graduated from Boise High School with the Class of 1964. Following graduation, she moved to St. Maries to help her parents operate the family ranch and farm. Flossie married Donald Kaiser on October 30, 1971 at Meridian, ID. They made their home near St. Maries. Flossie and Don adopted their son and daughter and raised them at their Swallow Hill Farm home. She and her husband raised chickens and goats and gave food products and eggs to needy families with the help of their church family. Flossie enjoyed making quilts for the infants of un-wed mothers to help keep the babies warm. Flossie was a member of the Church of God Seventh Day of Spokane, WA and the Master Gardner's of St. Maries, ID Flossie is survived by her husband Don at the family home near St. Maries. Her son Jarvas Kaiser of Florida and daughter Sharmila Rose Kaiser of Coeur d' Alene, ID. Also surviving are her brother David Spooner of St. Maries and grand daughter Lakiyah Gum. She was preceded in death by both her parents and brother Paul Spooner. Funeral Services will be Friday, October 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Hodge Funeral Home, St. Maries, ID with Pastor Brian Larson officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
