Obituary of Kathryn Crossen

Kathryn V. Crossen (78) resident of St. Maries, ID passed away at home on January 11, 2024.  She was born to Len and Donna (Hardy) Anderson on February 28, 1945, in Huntington, UT.  She grew up in Huntington and attended school there.

Following her schooling, she married Ted M. Lewis Sr.  He served in the military, so the couple lived in Utah, Arizona, and Oregon while they started their family.  The family also spent time in Germany and upon returning to the United States settled in Clearfield, UT.  Kathryn worked small jobs and her marriage to Ted ended in divorce.  She then went to work at Hill AFB as a Civil Servant, and later held contract positions in data translation.  Kathryn retired and lived in Clinton, UT for many years.

Kathryn was an active member of the L.D.S. Church.  In her spare time, she enjoyed puzzles, watching tv, particularly crime shows, and she loved socializing and going out to eat with her friends.  Beth Moon was her best friend for over 40 years, and they spent a lot of time together.  In 2023, Kathryn moved to St. Maries to be with her son. 

Kathryn is survived by her son Ted M. Lewis Jr. and his wife Sky Lewis of St. Maries, ID; siblings Jo DeTrey, Paulette Roberts, Wayne Anderson, Danna Pollack, and Dan Anderson, 2 grandsons Trae D. Lewis and Jude T. Lewis; numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her infant sibling Elizabeth Anderson, her infant child Richard Lewis, and adult son Roger Clint Lewis.

Kathryn will be laid to rest near her parents in Utah.
