Obituary of William C Frazier

William C. Frazier (86) resident of St. Maries, ID., died October 26, 2013 at Benewah Comm. Hospital following an apparent heart attack. He was born March 22, 1927 to Thomas and Merle (Parsons) Frazier at Boone, Iowa. Bill grew up in Salinas, California. He graduated from Salinas High School with the class of 1944. He married Betty Seibel on May 14, 1945 in Salinas. One month later, Bill received an invitation to Join the U.S. Army. He served in the Aleutian Islands off Alaska where the Japanese had invaded. Bill was discharged in 1947. He returned to Salinas and took a lease on some property in Greenfield, CA. and began a career in farming. He raised horses and cattle as well as raising "row crops" which included all varieties of vegetables. After 19 years of working his farm, he went to work for Merrill Farms in Salinas in 1968. Bill worked for them as a supervisor and foreman in charge of several of their farms. He retired in 1985 and moved to St. Maries in 2003. Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid rock hound and enjoyed panning for gold. He really enjoyed riding his four wheeler and spending time with his family. Bill is survived by his wife Betty at the family home. Sons and daughters-in-law Bill and Betty Frazier of St. Maries and Bob and Geraldine Frazier of Priest River, ID. His daughter and son-in-law Melanie and Dan Seidlitz of St. Maries, 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by son John Wesley Frazier , brothers Frank and Louis Frazier and sister Eleanor Tucker. At Bill's request, no services will be planned.
