I have know Chuck since we were in grade school. I remember him throughout his early years on the Chase Chevrolet basketball team - they were really good. In high school Chuck and I played on the Lumberjack basketball teams. He always found ways to contribute to the team with a positive attitude and his extreme effort.
Whenever I would be in SM and see Chuck he always greeted me with that big smile and a genuine embrace. Chuck made sure to never lose contact. I have many positive memories of SM and many of them can be credited to Chuck. He has passed but will not be forgotten.
