Joseph James Arnold (33) resident of St. Maries, ID passed away at his home on June 24, 2024.  He was born to James and Dawn (McDaniel) Arnold on July 1, 1990, in St. Maries, ID.  Joey grew up between St. Maries, St. Joe River, and Emida.  He attended school at Upriver and St. Maries High School.

Joey was an avid outdoorsmen and loved everything the outdoors brought him.  He found joy in fishing, hunting, horn hunting, riding 4 wheelers and motorcycles, and gathering firewood.  Often times Joey was misjudged, he truly was just a great person who would help out anyhow and anywhere help was needed.  He loved all animals, specifically his black lab Zeus.  Having a sense of humor and quick wit, he liked to prank his siblings when he was younger.  His family and friends will cherish their memories of him.

Joey is survived by his wife Sunshine at their home in Emida; daughter Alexis Herra of Emida, ID; stepchildren Chay Reep and Desi White both of St. Maries, ID; his parents James and Dawn Arnold of Emida; siblings Matt Stalford of Emida, ID, Kody Stalford of Santa, ID, Randy Stalford and Austin McDaniel both of Moscow, ID; aunts Carrie Kremposki and Brenda McDaniel both of Santa, ID; uncle Jim Kremposki of Santa, ID; 4 grandchildren and 1 on the way.

A celebration of Joey’s life will be held at a later date.
