Obituary of Tony Gardipe
Anthony Thomas Gardipe (50) made his journey at his home on June 30, 2024, after a long illness. He was born on April 8, 1974, to Anthony and Evie (Juneau) Gardipe in Albuquerque, NM. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Gizz and Grace Juneau and survived by his parents Bruce and Evie, his wife Edna, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, stepchildren, and all friends who loved and knew him.
Tony attended grade school at Plummer and graduated Plummer High School with the class of 1990. Following high school, Tony continued his education at North Idaho College in their Auto Body program. Tony spent 10 years living in Missoula, MT working in maintenance for the city. Ironically, he lived in a trailer court that was called DeSmet. Due to health issues, Tony returned home.
Tony enjoyed traveling to different places with his family and friends; he specifically enjoyed camping with his mom, dad, family, and friends. Experienced with his education in auto body, Tony loved working on cars whether it be repairing them or painting them. He also possessed a green thumb and loved caring for plants and flowers. After dating for a few years, on June 26, 2024, Tony married his fiancé and grade school friend Edna Miller in Coeur d’ Alene.
Rosary will be recited on July 2, 2024, at 7:00 pm at the Rose Creek Longhouse in Worley, ID. A prayer service will follow on July 3, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Rose Creek Longhouse in Worley with graveside services following at Sacred Heart Mission Cemetery in DeSmet, ID. A gathering of family and friends to share a meal will follow after all services at the Rose Creek Longhouse in Worley.
