We knew little that day, that God would call your name. In life we loved you dearly in death we do the same. It breaks our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone for part of us went with you the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories. Your love is still our guide and though we cannot see you, we know you are always by our side. We thank God we had you as a wonderful friend and partner.

Dear Shirley: Philip and I will be away the day of Chet's services, but our thoughts and prayers will be with you on that day and the days that follow. Dave Best enjoyed spending time with Chet so much. They shared their love of guns, gunsmithing, and gun shows together. And of course, they both loved Casey, the Rotweiller. I enjoyed running into Chet at Bud's for coffee, chatting about daily events and about your dogs. I enjoyed his sense of humor and his congenial manner. It is so hard to have a dear one leave us, but at the same time, it is a relief that Chet is no longer in pain and struggling, his spirit has been set free. Love, Denise Best and Philip Land
