Obituary of Thomas Donald Tatum
Thomas Donald Tatum (83) resident of Lewiston, ID, died August 19,2024 at Royal Plaza Health and Rehab in Lewiston. He was born January 12, 1941 in Spokane, Washington. Tom was adopted by William and Mary (Bell) Tatum shortly thereafter. He was raised by his adoptive parents on a ranch on Harrison Flats near St. Maries, and later moved with his parents living in Winchester, Craigmont, and Kamiah before moving to Lewiston.
Tom was married to Agnes Allen of Lapwai, ID as a young man and they later divorced. While living in Lewiston, Tom worked as a salesclerk for Goodwill Industries and retired from there when the time came.
Tom enjoyed collecting old records from the 1930’s and 1950’s. He had seven thousand original albums. Tom was a member of the Orchards Baptist Church in Lewiston, ID and donated his collection to them.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents William and Mary Tatum and will be buried next to them in Woodlawn Cemetery in St. Maries, ID. He is survived by several cousins including Ted (Faye) Baer of Bayview, ID.
