Obituary of Robert D. Noble

Robert Daniel Noble (92) resident of St. Maries, ID passed away at Kootenai Health on October 4, 2024.  He was born to Charles and Jewel Noble on Christmas day December 25, 1931 in Brightwater, AR. He was known as a pipefitter with a love for life, his family, and home. Bob was blessed with a full life.  Moving to Washington in 1942, he discovered his love of boats and water while working the shipyards in Bremerton, WA.  By 1953 he joined his dad back in Spokane and began a 30-year pipefitter job with Kaiser Aluminum until retirement in 1983.  Even then Bob continued working with the Pipefitters Union for 15 more years.

Travel, boating, and landscaping was his free time passion.  He looked forward each winter to becoming a snowbird and migrating to South Padre Island, San Diego, or even Mexico.  Locally, he would boat around Coeur d’ Alene, other local lakes, or even cruise up the St. Joe River to visit his beloved sister “Dot” Dorothy Ryden.

Bob made St. Maries his home in 2005 after living in Harrison since 1999.  He made his Garden Tracts property a place to fine tune his landscaping skills as well as developing lifelong friendships with neighbors, lodge members, and others.  He was known for having the prettiest flowers and yard in the area.

The father of 7 beautiful and accomplished children; he is survived by Bob Noble Jr., Charles Noble, Anthony Noble, Mary Lee Novelli, Carolyn Breitag, Elizabeth Noble, and Annette Noble, as well as 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
