Obituary of Juanita H. Woltering

Juanita H. Woltering (81) resident of St. Maries, ID., died November 7, 2013 at Valley Vista Care Center following an extended illness. She was born February 18, 1932 to Hiram and Thelma (Blankenship) Elders at Turkey Creek West Virginia. She grew up in West Virginia. Juanita married Earl Jones in 1948 in West Virginia and moved to St. Maries Idaho in 1954 to raise her family. In 1960 she went to work for Benewah Community Hospital as an educated Nurse's Aide. There she was nicknamed "Jonesy". In 1974 Juanita returned to West Virginia and later in 1979 her husband died. She returned to St. Maries in 1980 . In 1982 she married Melvin Woltering in Coeur d' Alene. They made their home in St. Maries. Juanita enjoyed hunting, fishing, dining out, and going to yard sales. Juanita is survived by her husband Melvin at his Cottage Care residence. Son Don Jones from Athol, ID. Daughter Cathy Wilson of Cataldo, ID. Her sister Regina Taylor of St. Maries, 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Juanita was preceded in death by daughter Charlene Byers and brother Bobby Elders.
