Obituary of Chloe L. Sexton

Chloe LaVonne Sexton (74) resident of Fernwood, ID. Died January16, 2012 near Harvard, ID from injuries received in an automobile accident. She was born February 27, 1937 to Robert and Lois ( Culler) Jordan at Coeur d' Alene, ID. She grew up in various communities of North Idaho. She married James Sexton on Jan. 11, 1953 at Coeur d' Alene where they made their home. She lived in Coeur d' Alene and California while her husband served in the U.S. Army. While in Coeur d' Alene, Chloe was a homemaker and raised her family. She moved to Seattle, WA in 11964. She worked in Real Estate sales while living in Seattle. She moved to Fernwood in 1972. She opened her ceramic shop in 1990 and closed the business the following year. She enjoyed ceramics and continued to produce them at her home. She also worked on home improvement as well. She and her husband raised Toy Pomeranians. Chloe was a member of the Fernwood Senior Center and the V.F.W. Auxiliary. Her husband died in the same automobile accident. Chloe is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Angela and Chuck Winter and Cheryl and Bill Taylor all of St. Maries. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Jim H. Sexton in 2009 as well as twin brothers Wayne and Dwayne Jordan and brother Robert Jordan .
