Obituary of Stewart R. Donohoe

Stewart R. Donohoe (56) former Medimont, ID resident, died Feb. 12, 2014 from injuries received in a motorcycle accident, near Mesa, AZ. He was born May 28, 1958 to Larrry and Dorothy (Bower) Donohoe at Tacoma, WA. Stewart grew up at Medimont, ID and graduated from Kootenai High School with the class of 1976. Following graduation, he went to work for his father Larry Donohoe Logging, Inc. In the 1980's, Stewart went to work for Crown Pacific in Plummer , ID where he operated a log processor. In the 1990's, Stewart went to work for Denarco Heavy Equipment as a salesman at Woodenville, WA. In 1998, Stewart married Bunny Steinprais at Reno, NV. They made their home at Woodenville, WA. They moved to Goldendale, WA in 2000. The following year, Stewart moved to Mesa, AZ and went to work for Dodd Diesel. Stewart was very accomplished at this position, where he did everything from Demonstrating, being a mechanic and selling all types of heavy equipment. Stewart was divorced in 2003. He was still employed by Dodd Diesel at the time of his death. Stewart enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He also loved logging. He was very social and enjoyed visiting with many friends he didn't even know. Stewart did not know a stranger. He enjoyed collecting motor cycle parts. Stewart started many projects , but seldem finished them. Hence , his membership in the Procrastenators Motorcycle Club. He dearly loved his children and spending time with them. Stewart was a member of the Cowboy Church of Casa Grande, AZ and a 25 year member of the Procrastenators Motorcycle Club. Stewart is survived by his parents Larry and Dorothy Donohoe of Medimont, ID. His son Andrew (Andy) Donohoe of Las Cruces, NM, Step-son: Stephen Steinprais of Kellogg, ID, and his daughter Tuesday Donohoe of Mesa, AZ. Also surviving are his brother and sister-in-law Mitch and Angel Donohoe of Medimont, ID and sisters and brothers-in-law Shirlene and Pat Collins of Grande Coulee, WA, Yolonda and Keith Schwartz of Kennewick, WA and Alisha and Todd McDevitt of Medimont, ID. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of his life will be Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. At the Kootenai High School Gymnasium with Pastors Neal Strom and Gary O'Neill officiating. A Potluck reception will follow in the Middle School Cafeteria.
