Was going through my morning and a song came on, wasn’t really paying attention, then the words, wish you were knocking at my door were sung and you flashed into my mind. It was such a heart punch. I miss you. You took a piece of me with you to heaven.

Words are so inadequate and fall short of expressing the sorrow for the loss of Michelle. Just know that you have a family that loves you and Michelle so much and is holding you in their prayers. Michelle was kind to everyone she met. She was very sensitive to others, and always had a smile and a hug for me. No matter what was going on her life, she was extremely positive. She was also the most loyal person to her friends and family I have ever met. She had her entire family's birthdays and anniveraries memorized and never forgot any of them and she has a very large family! Her wonderful example of how to live your life, even with its challenges, will be missed by so many. I send my love, hugs and prayers to her entire family at this very difficult time.

I will always remember Michell's infectious personality and beautiful smile. She spent many hours over the course of four years at University High School sitting at my desk. To think Michelle, we have only known each other for about 4-5 years. Seemed like a much much longer time! We always had a great time together. Many great memories. Can't think of a bad one and that makes me happy! You were one of my best friends. Still are, just in a different place now. I had many emotions which I know is normal. When our daughter Misty married Luke, we were immediately welcomed as part of the Kolar "extended" family. We saw Michelle at many of the family gatherings that we attended as well as ball games, etc. Over the years we were aware of the struggles she had with her health and the limitations and disappointments she had to deal with because of it. But despite the blows life dealt her, she grew up to be a lovely young woman who made the most of every opportunity to pursue her dreams. Her life is a testimony to all who knew her. Machelle and I met at University High school in the 10th grade and became best friends from then on out. She was truly a good best friend and good person who you could turn to for advice. She was one of those people I was lucky to have as a friend and I will miss her greatly.
