Obituary of Frances V. Nelson

Frances Virginia Nelson (86) resident of Plummer, ID died March 17, 2014 at her daughter's home near Plummer, ID. She was born January 16, 1928 to Beulah McMullan at Mackey, North Carolina. Her mother Married James Decatur who adopted Frances and her sister in 1943 and moved to family to California. Frances graduated from Corona High School, Corona, CA with the class of 1946. As a young woman, Frances worked for an automobile parts store and an orange packing company in California. Frances married Robert Nelson on June 22, 1952 at Las Vegas, NV. They moved to Washoe Valley, NV. in 1962 to enjoy the rural lifestyle. Frances was a homemaker all her life. She and her husband moved to Plummer, ID in 2006 to be closer to her daughter. Frances loved fishing, camping, gardening and her kitty, but most of all, she loved her family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Frances is survived by her husband Robert of Plummer, son Lon Reynolds and Nicole Reynolds of Washoe valley, NV., son and daughter-in-law Wayne and Cindie Nelson of Gypsum, CO, daughter and son-in-law Mary and Mike Ingersoll of Plummer, ID, 9 grandchildren and12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sister Ellen Ince and her brother Miles White. A memorial will be held at a later date to be announced.
