So very sorry for your loss. My thoughts, prayers and heart go out to each and everyone of you. Mr. C always had time for all of us kids in school and if he didn't, he made the time. God bless.

Mr. Chadbourne was one amazing guy. I remember growing up and just hearing how much he loved music and how much he loved teaching kids. I remember the first day he came back to school and got his eye surgery done. He was so happy and had some wicked cool glasses. He was always inspiring kids to fight for what they believe in. He always had advice to give on anything when you asked. His house was always a must stop during Halloween. He will be dearly missed by everyone. Your one amazing man Mr. Chadbourne. Have fun up there in heaven teaching everyone else about the gift of music.

Mr. C gave so much of himself to the youth of St Maries! I cannot count the value (it\'s too enormous!) of all the time he invested in me, my music, and the person I have become. Thanks for a life well-lived!

My sincere condolences to you, Joyce & Natasha! I enjoyed the times spent with Mr. Chadbourne. The first time was when I was in 6th grade at UpRiver, then thru high school choir. The last time we visited was when he retired from the bus garage. I never got to see his train collection but I always enjoyed listening to him talk about it. I don't think he ever met a stranger and always encouraged us to do our best no matter what we were doing. He will be missed by so many people!!! He'll always be with you both no matter where you go or what you do.

Each year on the anniversary of Mount St. Helens eruption it reminds me of my Sophomore year at St. Maries High School. I was in Mr. Chadbourne's Choir class (which a singer I am not) and for the class he was going to be recording each student individually singing. I was a bit stressed about that since I knew he would be cringing just listening to me even during the recording but I knew in his caring, positive manner would probably not show that he was listening to something that sounded like nails on a chalk board and find something positive to say. So when Mount St. Helens erupted prior to this recording happening and school was cancelled the rest of the year, I was happy that he didn't have to be traumatized by my vocals or lack of. He was truly a great teacher and role model for many students at St. Maries High School. I am honored to have had him as a teacher. He will be missed. My prayers are with his family during this difficult time. Gae Meyer (Mellen)

My sincere condolences to the family of Mr. Chadbourne. May you find comfort in your loving memories, and in God's promise to soon "swallow up death forever" and "wipe away the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25; ) While grief at the loss of Mr. Chadbourne is great, joy at welcoming him back in the resurrection will be greater. (Mark 5;42) With deepest sympathy,

I've been thinking for a couple of days on what to say. Mr. C was such a great person. He was always there and understood. I had a really rough year when I was in 8th grade and he just did everything he could to help me through. He was one of those people who you could call up and he would help you out. Joyce and Natasha my thoughts and prayers are with you. Mr. C plays us some heavenly music.

Mrs. Chadbourne and Natasha,
Some of my favorite memories growing up were those in Mr. C’s class. I still sing “50 nifty United States” every now and then, and will never forget how much fun it was singing the Aardvark song every time Mr. Beebe came in the room. But I also cherish the times coming over to hang out with Natasha and having fun talking football (I still think my Bears were better than the Packers, Bills and Steelers). Or checking out the latest addition to the train. It was always so much fun at the Chadbourne house. Seems like yesterday and years ago at the same time. Time moves way too fast but I know God was waiting with arms wide open. And Heaven’s song is sounding better with Mr. C there. God Bless you both.

Joyce and family--- We know Bud was strong and his faith and love of family and life helped him through this most difficult time. He was an inspiration to both my boys through music. He was my #1 guy to go to for my Packer Backer information, since he knew I was a cheesehead also! We will be in Wisconsin, so will not be able to attend the funeral. Our thoughts, prayers and love are sent your way--- Dean, Jeanne, Kirk and Mark Johson

Such a loss! What a wonderful man! Spent four years learning music from him at UpRiver playing the clarinet. Even as an adult when I would run into him, he was still trying to get me to join the city band. He touched many lives and will be remembered always! Rest in peace! Prayers to the family who lost such a special gem!

Joyce and Natasha, Gracie and Melvaline, you haven't seen much of the Myers family as we have lived in Arizona for many years. However, we had a wonderful time connecting while Mae and Chad were still living. We shared a wonderful lunchtime at their home in Caldwell. I was not surprised to see that Bud still had that sense of humor and easy ability to laugh. Gail and I have been married 45 years, Joyce, and I almost lost her last year. I cannot understand fully your grief in losing your soul mate, but I came within a few hours of losing mine. We do ask the Lord to give you and Natasha, Gracie, and Melvaline our Lord's comfort, and that He would give you an understanding and realization of HIS PURPOSE for each day! We have loved your family like our own. May you BE BLESSED and continue to be a blessing to those whom God brings along His Way!

Bud was one of my high school classmates and we sang the lead parts in Babes in Toyland our senior year. We reconnected several years ago at a reunion. II was blessed to have a brief time to get to know his heart when we were visiting our family in St. Maries. I will be forever blessed by the evening we spent with him and Joyce in January. The work God did in and through him will continue on through everyone he touched.

Mr. Chadbourne, was my favorite memory from junior high and high school. he took time with me, he spent hours working with me before school and after giving me voice lessons, Many trips to solo ensemlbe and other competitions, along with that... he spent time on phone with me when I had a hard time with other issues.. I will never forget him, Had i known he was sick I would of made an effort... a better effort to let him know what he meant to me.. he was more than just my teacher,, he was my friend. One day...i had a really bad day.. i was contemplating bad things.. he called me just as i almost did something bad, and asked if i wanted to attend a church cantata and sing in it.. i decided then that God lead him to do that, to save me.. Knowing him made my life longer...Thank you Mr. C. love you. Prayers to Mrs. C and family. He will be greatly missed.

We so enjoyed singing with the choir at the Nazarene Church. Our kids learned so much about music under his leadership in the St Maries schools. He'll definitely be singing in the heavenly choir, no sour notes to be heard! Praying the comfort of our God for Joyce and family.
