Obituary of Lois K. Seibert

Lois K. Seibert (90) longtime St. Maries, ID resident, died August 20, 2014 at St. Maries, ID. She was born April 27, 1924 to Edwin and Lois (Swift) Fitch at Coeur d' Alene, ID. Lois grew up in Sanders, ID and graduated from Plummer High School with the class of 1942. Dec. 8, 1943, she married Savy Procopio at Moscow, ID. She and her husband operated a small dairy farm and sold milk to local neighbors. Lois also drove dump truck for her husband's business. She also was a home maker raising her family. In the late 1960's , Lois drove for Keiffer Bus Lines. She also owned Procopio Upholstery. She was divorced in 1978. Following her divorce, she worked several jobs in the area. She operated the Handi Corner and owned the "New You" Clothing Store. Lois also worked at the Frandon Hotel in St. Maries. Lois married Paul Seibert on April 20, 1990 and he died the following year. When she was younger , Lois enjoyed horses and she was an excellent seamstress. Lois is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Richard and Sharon Procopio of Polson, MT and son Jim Procopio of St. Maries. Her daughters and sons-in-law Peggy and Bob Russell of Polson, MT and Sharon and Jerry West of Grand Ronde, OR, Also surviving are her brother Derry Fitch of Washington State and sister Sandra Bickar of Toledo, WA. Lois is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the North Columbarium of Woodlawn Cemetery.
