Obituary of Brandon Luis Avalos

Brandon Luis Avalos (18) resident of St. Maries, ID died September 18, 2014 from injuries sustained in a fall at Glacier National Park. He was born November 24, 1995 to Tony and Deana (Breithaupt) Avalos in Seattle, WA. Brandon grew up in St. Maries and was a 12 year student in District 41. While attending St. Maries High School, Brandon was on the wrestling team, football team, and baseball team. He graduated this Spring with the class of 2014. Brandon enjoyed motocross racing, especially at the Fossil Bowl, near Clarkia, ID. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and all out door activities. Brandon is survived by his parents at the family home in St. Maries. His grandmothers Patty Elders of St. Maries and Jeri Breithaupt of Yakima, WA. Also surviving are his brothers Anthony and Carlos Avalos both of St. Maries and Ricky Avalos of Coeur d' Alene, ID. Visitation has been held at the Hodge Funeral Home and a celebration of his life will be Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Maries Nazarene Church Gymnasium with Pastor Darin Million officiating. A Potluck gathering of Family and friends will follow services at the St. Maries Elks Lodge. A Memorial Ride has been scheduled for Sunday Sept. 28th at 9:30 am at the Fossil Bowl, Clarkia , ID where his ashes will be taken on his last ride.
