I'm so sorry for the loss of this great man. Parker was such a good man. Always there to give us, and anyone advice. He was always smiling and laughing. We are sending our thoughts and prayers to his family.

Parker was one of my very best friends in high school We played football together, hung out together and laughed a lot together. He was very competitive and (like me) he was a poor sport. Why do you try to take someone apart on the football field, if you're going to pretend to be happy if they should win? We fought to win. He was intensely loyal and he was always there whenever I needed him. Unfortunately, I haven't seen him in too many years but I've stayed in contact by phone over the past many years. I know he's wrapped in love where he is and I know he's smiling and laughing at any opportunity to laugh. He was joyful and incredibly loyal. I miss him and I'm thankful that he went quickly when he was called. Parker< I love you and I look forward to seeing you again. Maybe, I'' ll teach you something about two handed pinochle.
Jan, may God comfort you and hold you tight. Parker was one of the best. Don Banks

Parker was one of the nicest young men I ever met. He was a classmate and a kind and caring person even at a young age. It was a loss to the community when he moves away but it appears he had a wonderful and full life. I know he will be missed

Some of the early years of my Dad were left out or incorrect but the one thing everybody got right was his smile was infectious, he was kind to others, loved the Lord, and loved his children even when we disappointed him. He lived a full life was an avid hunter and was the best cowboy I've ever known. Even in his older years he still proved that a horse couldn't buck him off. He was a rancher and supplied the local creamery with milk from his dairy cows. He made his own butter and also enjoyed the fresh milk. He was in the Antique, coin and gold business since I was a young girl. His first shop was PJ Coins and Gold. We rode horses together sang together and loved one another. He wrote a song for me when I was a child and what I would give to remember all of the words to it. I remember most of it but not all. Also there was a lot of step-children that came into my father's life when he married Jan. It sadden me that they were not mentioned in the obit. He taught as a school Teacher in Payette Idaho, where for a while he filled in for the Principal as I attended that school. I was proud of my father when he accepted the Lord and his calling to Preach and have attended many of those sermon's. Besides being the pastor at 2 area churches he also was a fill in at The Fernwood church. My father was part of my baptism and my youngest daughter's. The local pastor's got involved in "the Forty Days of Purpose" We were in Dad's group and a miracle was had my husband became a Christian praise the Lord. He married my husband and I, he married my oldest daughter to her husband, He married Two of his Granddaughter's and he married my brother to his lovely wife Diana. He danced and sang at home and yes he learned to play cards at a young age and carried on with it till nearly the end. He loved pie, sees candy and Venison. He loved his Cousin Ken Dillon as a brother and thought the world of his sister Mayme Patton. He will be missed and no doubt he is in heaven with his parents Nona and Babpoo and many others. I miss my Dad deeply and have lost a piece of my heart. But I know I will see him again in Heaven. R.I.P daddy.

Ashley, You mention that you got to take care of my Dad in his last few months. I would really appreciate it if you could call me at (208)( 582- 2409. I was a resident of Saint Maries but had to move away to finish college. My Dad and I talked by phone but had not seen him in person for almost 2 years.

I am so sorry to hear this. Parker was my dear friend during the time we were in St. Maries. I was reading Dan Swan's post and I echo all of those thoughts. I will never forget Parker and the way he loved to have a good time. He always used to joke about his singing, but today his voice is one of the most beautiful voices in Heaven. Blessings to you, Jan.

I am so grateful for the nearly 10 years we were fellow pastors together in this community. What great times we had at the ministers prayer time each Tuesday morning with breakfast to follow and plenty of laughs. I remember our Prayer Summits at Shilo Ranch each year where we ate, prayed, laughed and shared together. Can you believe we even spoke at each others churches on occasion? I don’t think we drove off too many members when we did that. I am especially thankful for the several months when we were without a Youth Pastor and Parker so graciously brought his youth out to the Nazarene Church and did our youth groups together. Most importantly though, I will always remember Parker’s heart for God and his heart for people. May God comfort you Jan, Jess and the rest of your family.

Jan I will miss seeing Parker once in a while. I remember him renewing mine and Richards vows on our 25th anniversary. I know I didn't see you both that much in the last few years. But I often thought of you both. I love you both and I hope and pray for the lord to give all of you and the community the strength to get through these sad times.

Oh Parker, where to begin! I loved the many jokes you were always telling me. Loved the times before bowling when we would talk and pray together. Loved bowling against you. You have touched so many lives including mine. I will always remember you with a smile on my face and in my heart. Jan, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and I know God will wrap his arms around you to give you comfort to get through this difficult time.
