Obituary of Ruth Ann Fuller

OBITUARY Ruth Ann Fuller (71) resident of Emida, ID died November 5, 2014 at St. Maries, ID. She was born April 23, 1943 to Carrel and Martha (Thompson) Harmer at Kansas City, MO. She grew up in Edgerton, MO. She married David L. Reeves in 1959 in Oklahoma. They made their home at Edgerton. Her husband died in a drowning accident in 1961. Ruth married David A. Fuller on July 8, 1962 in Kansas City, MO. Ruth was a housewife and began raising her family. She moved to Idaho in 1970 settling in the Minnaloosa Valley, near Plummer, ID. Ruth moved her family to Emida, ID in 1975. She was a homemaker and also worked at the Western Bar and Café at Emida. Ruth and her husband leased the bar and café business in 1988. Her husband David died in 1993. Ruth continued to operate the business until 1994 when she sold it to her brother and sister-in-law. She continued to work part time at the restaurant. In the late 1990's, Ruth went to work for Valley Vista Care Center in the food service department. In 2001, Ruth returned to work part time at the Western Bar and Café at Emida until her retirement in 2005. Ruth enjoyed going to yard sales. She was an avid reader of romance novels. Ruth enjoyed playing cards, cooking and baking and working cross word puzzles. Her greatest love was family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren. Ruth is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Chris and Yvonne Reeves of Spokane, her sons Timothy A. Fuller of Emida, ID, Robert F. Fuller of Spokane, WA and Daniel E. Fuller of St. Maries. Her brothers Boley Harmer of Gower, MO and Bobby Harmer of Edgerton, MO. Also surviving are her sisters Mary Gieringer of Florida, Joyce Kissick and Charlotte Masnor both of Edgerton, Mo and Lenora Molder of Kansas City, MO as well as 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded in death by her son David Leroy Reeves II, her brother Billy Harmer, as well as her long-time companion Donald Higgins. Funeral Services will be Monday, November 10, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Hodge Funeral Home, St. Maries, ID with Pastor Greg Worch officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Emida Cemetery with a gathering of family and friends following at the Emida Community Center.
