Obituary of Florine W. Lamunyan

Florine W. Lamunyan (92) resident of Plummer, ID died Nov. 25, 2014 at Coeur d' Alene, ID. She was born January 6, 1922 to Austin and Fanny (Burnett) Wilson at Caddo Gap, Arkansas. She grew up at Caddo Gap and attended school at Glenwood, AR. On Aug. 13, 1938 she married Warren W. Raines at Hot Springs, AR. They made their home at Glenwood where she was a homemaker and began to raise her family. Florine moved with her family to St. Maries in 1949. She continued to raise her family and worked for Florence Gaskill at the Handi Corner Resturant. Florine was divorced in 1959. She went to work for Mike's Drug in 1960. Florine married Harry Lamuyan in 1962 at Coeur d' Alene. They made their home in St. Maries prior to moving to Post Falls, ID. Where they opened H. and F. Drug Store. She and her husband operated the business until the late 1980's when they sold the business. Her husband died in 1999. Florine moved to Tekoa, WA later that year. She moved to Plummer in 2001. Florine and Harry were active bowlers when they lived in Post Falls. Florine enjoyed doing embroidery. She was a wonderful gardener and enjoyed growing flowers and plants as well. Florine is survived by her son and daughter-in law Gary and Teresa Raines of Tekoa, WA. her daughters and sons-in-law Pat and Jim Green of St. Maries and Bennie and Bob Lowry of Plummer, ID. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers A.J Wilson and Sonny Joe Wilson and sister Mary Lou Raines.
