Obituary of Linda Fay Nitcy

Linda Fay Nitcy (69) resident of St. Maries, ID died Nov. 24, 2014 at St. Maries, ID. She was born August 29, 1945 to Ralph and Mildred (Taylor) Breeden at Kellogg, ID. She grew up in Kingston, ID and Harrison Flats where she attended Kootenai High School. She moved to Cataldo, ID in 1960. Linda married Lowell Nitcy in 1961 at Coeur d' Alene, ID. They made their home at St. Maries, before moving to Pritchard, ID. They returned briefly to St. Maries before making their home in Harrison. She was a homemaker and raised her children. Linda moved to Riverdale, near St. Maries in 1978. She was divorced in 1982. Linda went to work for Valley Vista Care Center. She worked there for 10 years until health issues caused her to retire in 2007. Linda enjoyed fishing and camping. She also enjoyed gardening and canning the fruits of her labors. Linda had a fondness for animals and loved being with her family. Linda is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Jesse and Marie Nitcy of Santa, ID and son Jack Nitcy of St. Maries. Also surviving are her daughter Laura Koser and her sister Joyce Miller both of St. Maries. Linda is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
