Obituary of Robert G. Delauney

ROBERT G. DeLAUNEY, JR. Robert G. DeLauney, Jr., 53, a resident of the St. Maries, Idaho community, died Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the Hospice of North Idaho Hospice House. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 2:30 P.M. at the Mt. View Memorial Gardens, 499 Watercrest Road in Forest Grove, with the Rev. Richard E. Osburn, Retired Pastor of the United Church of Christ, officiating. Concluding Rites and Interment will follow at the cemetery. ROBERT GERALD DeLAUNEY, JR. was born on January 14, 1961 in Hillsboro, Oregon, the son of the late Robert Gerald Delaney, Sr. and Sharon Lee (Walker) DeLauney. He worked as a Pipe Fitter for out the Union Hall for thirty years, until he retired. Robert was a member of the Pipe Fitters Union Local. Among his special interests, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, sports and family activities. He has been a resident of St. Maries area for the past 17 years. Robert is preceded in death by his father, Robert G. DeLauney, Sr. and his sister, Debra Rae DeLauney. Survivors include his mother, Sharon L. DeLauney, of Stanwood, Washington; his sister, Darla Blumberg, of Arlington, Washington; his two children, his four grandchildren, his three nieces and great nieces and nephews and some very special friends.
