I knew Lee as a kind, considerate, uncomplaining, person and I'm proud to say he was my cousin. He had a great memory and he was a good writer and historian. I've read all his books about the old days and the family. He had quite a life and I'm sure he's left many people behind who loved and will miss him very much. God bless you, Lee.

What can I say about Lee..I sit with tears in my eyes. He and Myrtle were two of the MOST loving people God ever created. Lee Liked to see love shine from peoples eyes and laughter. He loved a god joke, even if it was on him! He was so very talented ....I could go on forever but, I will leave with one note, I'm sure his family will recognize..Dear God, This is Lee.He is from St. Maries Idaho. If he is lost, take him home with you....Loved you Little Lee...

I met Lee a little over a year ago. We were taking the same bus to dialysis in Hayden. He loved talking about his family and the books he wrote. Lee was a special person, kind thoughtful and a person to know. The one thing we joked about when we arrived at dialysis that Lee had his pillow. He never wanted to forget it. After I was doing duailysis at home I would see Lee everytime I had to go to the clinic, talk and give him a hug. Lee was and is a wonderful man.
