Obituary of KELLY C. WHITESIDE

Kelly C. Whiteside (49) resident of St. Maries, died Jan. 26th at St. Maries, ID. She was born August 26, 1960 at Coeur d' Alene, ID. Her parents were Dennis And Sharon McPoland. She grew up at St. Maries, ID She graduated from St. Maries High School with the class of 1978. She married Harold Payne at St. Maries in 1979. She was a home maker all of her life and raised her family. She divorced in 1990. She married Tom Whiteside on Aug. 26, 1992 at St. Maries. She was known for traveling around town on her Golf Cart, she enjoyed having her coffee at Bud's on a daily basis, visiting the CDA Casino, Traveling watching Soap Opera's, and Swimming. She is survived by her husband Tom at the family home in St. Maries. Her father and step-mother Dennis and Levene McPoland of St. Maries. Also surviving are her son Eric Scott Payne of Coeur d' Alene ID, her step-son's: Billy Whiteside of Stockton, CA, Roger Canty of St. Maries. Steven Canty of Post Falls, ID, Brian Oberender of Yakima, WA Her daughter Leilani Pharness (Dustin) of St. Maries ID, step-daughters Gloria Hamilton (Gregg) of Palmetto, Florida, Diane Branson (Brad) of St. Maries and Wendy Maryott (Bill) of Rathdrum, ID. She is also survived by brother Eric "Lanny" McPoland of Colville, WA and her sister and husband Debbie and Randy Green of Post Falls, ID. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 2 Great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother in 1993 and her brother Mike McPoland in 1988. Memorial services will be Sat. Jan. 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. At Hodge Funeral Home, St. Maries with Pastor Gary Foster officiating. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the St. Maries Eagles Lodge.
