Pat, Allison and family. . . . .I am so very sad as I only learned today of Nancy's passing. I don't believe there was another person in this world who I admired and looked up to more than Nancy. We met in grade school and attended church and Job's Daughters together. Then later on in life we both adopted our babies nearly the same time. She was so kind and sent me a beautifully cross-stitched baby plaque with my baby's name on it. It is something I truly treasure. It breaks my heart to know that she is gone, I had no idea. Last time I saw and spoke with her was in Coeur d'Alene and we had a wonderful visit. Please accept my condolences and know that I truly loved her as a friend and will remember her always. I will cherish my memories of her forever. God's love to you.

My sincere condolences to you and your family, Pat. I met Nancy through Connie Hanley at the golf course and then again when I worked for Dick McFadden. She was a wonderful lady and always pleasant and helpful. I will miss the emails she so thoughtfully sent. My prayers are still being said for you and your family.

I'm heartbroken. Nancy was not only one of my college roommates, but married one of my childhood friends. There were four of us who lived in an apartment in Spokane - across from Rosauers. We were all so young and hopeful about the future. I remember that Nancy was the one who kept us together. She paid the bills and made sure we kept up to date with everything. She had the greatest demeanor - always. Not moody, not a selfish bone in her body. I also remember being so fascinated by her maturity compared to the rest of us. She was extra special. In fact, back in those days she'd have showered, washed her hair, packed her lunch for the next day and always had things like Christmas Cards out on time. I'm still never ready for anything on time, it seems. I felt safe around Nancy. She was constant, she was rational, she was oh, so, thoughtful and kind.
I didn't know she was sick . . . and am so sad that I cannot be with everyone today to share and celebrate her wonderful life. I'll be celebrating Nancy from Yakima today.
Pat, I know what a tremendous loss this is and am comforted that you have Allison - that you have each other. Nancy's 'gifts' will live on forever in our hearts. Love, Gail.
